What are Peak Days

Between June 1 and September 30, our wholesale power supplier, Western Farmers Electric Cooperative, can call peak days. This means that when CVE is notified of a peak day, we inform you, the member, to help conserve energy between the "Peak" hours of 2-6 PM for that day. We ask members to conserve energy to help CVE control our wholesale power costs. If our wholesale costs are lower, that lower cost flows to you. Help us beat the peak while staying comfortable in your home.
