In an effort to promote electrical safety, Central Valley Electric Cooperative and the New Mexico Marketing and Member Services Association sponsor a Safety Coloring Contest for elementary school students in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. 

CVE believes safety comes first and we are dedicated to educating children about electrical safety.

A first, second and third place winner is chosen from each participating school and then an overall winner is chosen. The overall winner is then entered into a statewide competition with other New Mexico electric cooperatives.
