Beware of phone scams that threaten to turn off your power if you don't pay immediately!
In accordance with Central Valley Electric Cooperative's Bylaws, each year the Cooperative holds its Annual Meeting of Members within the first 90 days of each year. This meeting is a cornerstone of our democratic process and a living example of the Fourth Cooperative Principle: Autonomy and Independence.

Why Attend the Annual Meeting?
Your voice. Your vote. Your Cooperative.
When you receive electricity from Central Valley Electric Cooperative, you're more than a customer, you're a member-owner.
That means you have a direct voice in how your cooperative operates.
Every year, CVE holds an Annual Meeting of the Membership, where members come together
to hear updates, elect trustees, and celebrate another year of powering our communities.
Make Your Voice Heard
The Annual Meeting is your opportunity to:
- Hear updates from the previous year on the co-op's financial health, accomplishments, and goals.
- Vote on important issues like potential Bylaw changes that help shape the future of your cooperative, and vote for members to the board.
- Learn how CVE is planning for the future, improving reliability, and investing in technology and infrastructure.
- Connect with CVE employees, trustees, and fellow members.
Voting Information
Each member must be present with proper identification to register and vote at the Annual Meeting. Proxy votes are not allowed. Members may also vote on proposed Bylaw changes during the meeting.
